Tip of the Week: Mandated Reporting of All “Title IX violations”* to the Police: A Bad Idea

To comply with Title IX, we need policies that create the expectation that responsible employees will report sexual harassment and/or discrimination to appropriate school officials, such as a Title IX Coordinator or the employee’s supervisor.
